For my editorial project, I decided to also create an Elle editorial. The images above are my final images. I feel that they really portray Elle’s style of creativity when they create their editorials. They appear to be more modern when compared to Vogue.
I have created a progress board for my portfolio to show the journey that I took to create my final visual merchandising boards. Experimenting with different shapes and layouts in google sketch up helped my decide what would work best for me and M&Co.

When looking for M&Co shop window display„ there isn’t very many to look at! These are just two good images that could find. My my shop window drawing, i think I’m going to go with a double shop window like in the images above.
For our new brief we have to create a window display for M&Co. I have been currently trying out different ideas on google sketch up. These are just a few ideas I’ve had :)

-Asian Culture inspired collection.
This collection was by far one of my favourites at the New York Fashion Week. The collection include feminine pieces but with sharp tailored cuts. Such a sophisticated collection.
I am happy with the way that the images are laid out. I got the inspiration from October’s 2011 issue of Nylon. The photo shoot was with Elizabeth Olsen.
Really really really like this layout and the font used. I think it all links well.
The above image is one of my tested layout tries on Adobe Indesign. The only thing with the image is that it will be in the spine of the magazine.
While reading both the metro and the Daily mail this morning, both papers display an article on Victoria Beckham’s catwalk show at New York Fashion Week. The show was down a treat with the viewers, which displayed a colour palette of dark greens, taupe and a splash of red. The military-inspired collection involved her famous signature style which has been reinvented to show sharpe collars and wrapped belts. The centre image shows another of Victoria’s new pieces with the influence coming from her daughter Harper, who was honoured in the form of a handbag.
